I haven't been making very big posts lately because there isn't much to talk about with my toons at this time.

but I want to keep in the habit of posting something once a day, so i continue to ramble or babble or dribble thoughts out of my keyboard :)..

Just upgraded to 4 gigs and the game runs much better.
Didn't realize it took 2g just to run wow.

I didn't respec since I played on an alt allday.

3.2 changes to enhancement shamans

A customizable totem bar will now be available for shamans allowing the storing of 4 different totems. These totems can be placed on the ground at once in one global cooldown for the combined mana cost of all 4 totems.

This will be great, since i can drop them all at once, then start beating up on people.
All Shocks now have a default range of 25 yards, up from 20 yards.

Nice to be able to silence casters from even farther away.

Base health increased by approximately 7% to correct for shamans having lower health than other classes.

Shamanistic Rage: Cooldown is now 1 minute, down from 2 minutes. Successful melee attacks now have a chance to generate mana equal to 15% of the shaman's attack power, down from 30%.

What this means is that every minute, we can reduce ALL incoming damage by 30%. In a 15 sec fight, all damage reduced by 30% for the duration, AND you can use it while stunned. That is a fight turner right there.

Cure Poison and Cure Disease: Combined into a single spell, Cure Toxins.

I usually drop the totem, but now i might use it when a rogue and a death knight are beating me up.


Good changes all around, I am hoping that they make it to live give or take a few updates.

Warrior loot from OS 10

I was able to run OS 10 last night, and I won 3 of the 4 drops.

I just didn't win the token since it was not for warriors :).

It was a good run with me switching between arms and prot and we sailed through it no problem.

PVP enhancement shaman 3.1.3

My number one shaman, actually my only shaman, has been playing with this build: Wowhead 0/71/0 build

The thing with shamans is nicely said by someone else. They are a high skill class.

Maybe I just don't have the skills right now to pull it off.
Low HP, Low damage, Low survivability, low heals.
I am hoping the totem bar, and a few more abilities will come into play to help me out.

PVP enhancement shaman 3.1.1a

I have been pvping a little bit. Not much but enough to start winning some.
Here is my spec with glyphs. Wowhead PVP Enhancement shaman
What my goal is, is surviving and utility.
I think I got some of that, using my maelstorm to heal instead of to Lightning bolt.

Here is the tough part, I have locked in keybindings for some of my totems, such as stoneclaw, grounding, earthbind, and fire nova totem and that seems to work well, I can actually do "something" will battlegrounding.
It seems though that with my bloodlust, feral spirits, totems, spells and what not, that I have actually been able to turn the tides in Battlegrounds.
Here is what happened, My gear was poor, I didn't take PVP seriously.

My PVE resto set just didn't cut it. I would only chain heal for maximum effect, and just sit there and wait for the honor to roll in as I was spamming it.
Then I switched to PVP enhancement and PVE restoration. Gemmed, and Enchanted my gear, spent some honor points and took it serious. I started using bloodlust at the right times (all the time) and started blasting my totems, and dps when I could.
What happened was, WE started winning battlegrounds. Odd that. All of a sudden I was able to turn in my daily quests and out of the blue, got invited to do some 3v3 arena.

That was an awesome feeling.

All because I took my role seriously.

Hmmm...Back to playing.

3.1 mostly out

Its installed, but servers aren't up yet.
